DI TUTTI I COLORI | MUSEO DELLA CERAMICA DI MONTELUPO

Temporary Exhibition

di Tutti i Colori celebrates one of the most typical aspects of Montelupo’s ceramics: the colour.
An itinerary of ‘stories in ceramics’, from Palazzo Podestarile to Montelupo’s Ceramics Museum, along which objects reveal themselves and the important roles they played in the historic, economic and social dynamics of Florence.
Stories that still intertwine in today’s Montelupo, where art and design meet on the path to creative impetus to crafting and proposal of new models.

ABOUT A VASE

Temporary Exhibition

The temporary exhibition About a Vase was set up in several venues of the historical city center of Montelupo Fiorentino (Florence, Italy). The exhibition design was made up of simple panels (OSB panels wrapped in printed paper) that discretely accompanied the works of art.

WUNDERKAMMER -
THE CHAMBER OF WONDERS
OF MONTELUPO

Temporary Pavilion

A red path guided the visitors through the contemporary ceramic production of Montelupo. The temporary pavilion interpreted the idea of collecting and presents ceramic products as works of art. Like modern chambers of Renaissance collectors, the ceramics of Montelupo were kept inside three containers. These become modern chambers of wonders and represented the idea of travelling.

29° PREMIO DESIGN MCB
MUSEO DA CASA BRASILEIRA

Temporary Exhibition

The Brazilian Design Award is the main exhibition of the museum, each year the best Brazilian objects are selected, awarded and displayed.

This exhibition has been set up by the MCB staff. White walls with blue, grey, and brown stones accompanied the visitors through the rooms. The only exception was the dark room that hosted the lamps (luminaria).

FULVIO NANNI MOVELARIA
MUSEU DA CASA BRASILEIRA

Temporary Exhibition

The retrospective on Nanni honoured the activity of the Brazilian designer. The show, designed by the MCB staff, exhibited original and un-published drawings, iconic pieces of furniture, and prototypes. The exhibition was linked to the Brazilian Awards because Nanni is one of the winners of the first
editions of the Prize.
